Description

MSat DSD6000 VAST Certified Satellite Receiver Set Top Box

The MSat DSD6000 is a next-generation, VAST® certified high-definition satellite receiver engineered specifically for Australia’s demanding outback and regional conditions. Serving as the direct successor to the industry-standard DSD4921 and DSD5000 platforms, the DSD6000 combines proven engineering lineage with modern hardware to deliver fast channel switching, rock-solid stability, and dependable free-to-air reception anywhere in Australia.

Designed for touring caravans, motorhomes, remote homesteads, and semi-professional rebroadcast installations, the DSD6000 features dual 12V DC / 240V AC power flexibility, a hardened power supply, and twin DVB-S2 tuners for full PVR functionality.

Key Features

• Official VAST® Certified: Decodes the complete lineup of digital free-to-view commercial and ABC/SBS channels via Optus 10 / D3 satellites.

• Twin DVB-S2 Tuner PVR: Watch one channel while recording another, pause live TV, and schedule series or timer recordings with any compatible external USB hard drive or flash drive (storage not included).

• Hardened Power Supply: Includes a heavy-duty 240V AC to 12V DC 3A external power adapter with integrated protection against over-voltage, under-voltage, reverse polarity, and short circuits.

• 12V Native & 240V Ready: Plug straight into 12V caravan power systems or run off standard household mains.

• Simultaneous HDMI & Composite AV Output: Run your primary screen via HDMI while simultaneously feeding an annexe, bedroom, or modulator via standard RCA composite output.

• Compact Footprint: Easily conceals inside tight caravan cupboards, behind mounted displays, or in AV enclosures (supports optional external IR target).

• Front Display Clock: Retains an active digital clock readout even while in standby mode.
